School Resource Officers Sumter County
Sumter County has four School Resource Officers who serve as the liaison between the Police Department and the schools, providing law enforcement services as well as ensuring a safe school atmosphere by assisting in the administration of school rules and policies. By combining law enforcement, education, and counseling, they provide a pro-active approach that encourages school safety and deters juvenile delinquency.
To contact your School's Resource Officer please call the school office during normal school hours.

“I enjoy being on campus,” he says, “because it allows me to spend time with the students and have a positive influence in their lives while showing them that people in Law Enforcement are here to help and guide them.”
